In 2022, we completed more than 380 training sessions and provided over 19,000 hours of training to 6,487 employees, equivalent to an average of 30 hours per person.

 

DEVELOPMENT BY SKILLS

This is a new training project to make our staff better prepared to respond to the rapid changes that are taking place in the financial sector (digitisation, changing consumer habits). This project relies on transforming how our personnel's development is managed by implementing a model based on Job Profiles and Skills. To achieve this transformation, 4 Building Blocks or phases have been established:

This project resulted in 321 job profiles being identified in all the CaixaBank Group companies

EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY

We promote a safe and inclusive work environment based on respect for diversity and the promotion of equal opportunities, eliminating any discrimination and contributing to positive social change. To achieve this, we have launched the 3rd Equality Plan with more than 50 actions carried out.

WANT TO KNOW MORE?

We promote the equal and respectful treatment of all the people who make up our workforce. Through training and various materials for internal use, we help promote the use of inclusive, non-sexist language and communication that is free of biases and stereotypes.

To promote a work environment based on respect, equal opportunity and inclusiveness, we have developed the Wengage programme, which offers mentoring sessions on gender, functional and generational diversity:

MENTORING OF WOMEN

It contributes to the development of cross-cutting and leadership skills of women with potential, while helping them overcome their self-limiting beliefs.

Reverse mentoring

REVERSE MENTORING

It enhances the digital culture of people over 45 years old through the empowerment of young people, while improving the leadership of both groups and passing on the organisational wisdom of the older generations.

Thanks to all of this, since 2017 we have held the "Equality in the Workplace" seal awarded by the Ministry of Equality. In 2022, we managed to renew it for a further 3 years.
